What languages does Rimo support?+

Rimo supports 25+ languages including Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and more.

How are characters counted?+

The full text of the source message counts toward your monthly quota. Only the message being translated is counted — the translated output does not count.

Do I need to set up OAuth to use Rimo?+

No. Thread mode works immediately with no additional setup. OAuth is only needed if you want translations to appear inline in the original message.

What happens when I reach my monthly limit?+

Translations pause until the quota resets on the 1st of each month. You'll receive a warning at 80% usage and an upgrade prompt when you hit 100%.

Is my message content stored?+

No. Rimo stores only metadata (character counts, timestamps) for billing — not the content of your messages. Messages are sent to our AI provider for translation and are not retained.
